Excellent white Canada HARMONY quarter with prooflike luster and very strong strike. Light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Purchased as part of a 13-coin (12 quarters, 1 medal) NGC-graded Canada 2000 Millennium quarter set for $103.88 on 7/4/14 on eBay from Dan Wilson (bil223).
To celebrate the new millennium, Canada created a two-year circulating commemorative program conducted in two parts (one in 1999 and one in 2000). Each program released 12 quarters per year (1 per month) and each featured a unique design. The 2000 plan featured designs representative of Canada's dreams for a new millennium.
