Moderate frosted devices with nice reflection in the fields. Lightly struck on the central devices just above the ear. The 1891-O is very elusive in full DMPL with a total population graded at PCGS of only 28 DMPL'S. This one has 7 sister's in MS63 with 8 in MS64 and 2 in MS65. NGC population report for this coin is a total of only 13 DPL'S graded. Only 41 DMPL's in all grades between PCGS and NGC. This 1891-O is designated as the Van 1 Normal die type with the closed 9 in the date on the obverse. The reverse is the normal die type with medium O mint mark centered and upright.
