ORIGIN:A child of the bronze age introduced to comic books @ age 8(1973) when my cousin gave me a mixture of horror,war and superhero books.I like daily&Sunday newspaper comics, mythology and fairy tales so comic books seemed to put it all together.Bought most of my comics from an adult bookstore(on Washington in downtown St.Louis) that sold comics in the front part of the store and the occasional/random magazine section of a drugstore or grocery store.My first comic book subscription started with X-Men #110.My original collection(170+books)was stolen when I was 13. I bought a copy of Spiderman #300 @7-11 and it was the start of my adult collection.Unlike my original collection about 97%(6500+) of my books are bagged&boarded w/key books in mylar. Looking forward to getting more books graded and always checking eBay for CGC deals on my favorites & key issues.I enjoy looking at other collectors galleries.
