Aloha!
I was raised in Honolulu Hawaii by my Mother and father who were a Teacher(Mom) and a Pawn broker(Dad).
Since I was 12 or 13 years old I'd spend every summer in the pawn shop learning about a wide sort of valuables with my dad. Eventually when I was 20 yrs. old I attended GIA to learn Daimond grading and ran the shop until I was 28yrs old. More to come later...
