Prophecy's Bio
I learned from many years of collecting other things (toys, art, etc) that it's best to just collect what you like; and not to try and be a completist. That is of course you love an entire series, artist, or writer. That being said, I'm a fan of J Scott Campbell's art and hope to acquire all the issues on my wish list. Aside from him I have a very eclectic taste in comics, collecting random sets & issues for various reasons (childhood, key issues, awesome story or art).
