I am a retired U.S. Army Military Police CPT, I am in my 50's now and have been collecting Comics before I could read them. Most of the graded books in my collection I had as a child, or found at antique stores where I look for them while my wife looks for antiques, My favorite comic Collecting Moment was at the 2014 Orlando Comic con when Stan Lee signed my Sub-Mariner #1 and my Wife took a picture of me talking to Stan Lee.
