Set Description
I Started trying to complete a set of Proof 3CNs because I thought and still do think that these are teribly undervalued with the very low mintages of this set. When it came time for the 1865 slot I was able to win a Judd-410. I must confess that at first I didn't understand what the JUDD410 was. I just assumed it was that same as the 1865 3CN. When I found out that this is MUCH rarer I was thrilled. According to NGC they have only graded 6 of the proof j-410 and only 2 in proof cameo the one I have being the pf65 cameo (the highest grade) to where as the normal 1865 3cn have had 175 graded. Still shocks me that the normal 1865s are bringing more at auctions. I have started looking at pattern coins thinking that many are undervalued and what better place to start then the 3 cent pieces.
