1943-S STRIKE: Another weakly struck San Fran issue. Although not as weak as the 42-S, 44-S and 41-S, center obverse flatness is the norm. 1943-S LUSTER: what this date lacks in strike quality it more than compensates for in luster. Often deeply satiny, many coins of this date posess an internal glow that resembles a lacquer. SHORT SET RANK OF GRADED GEMS: 4th out of 20
