Deep green-gold skin over crusty, subdued luster... originality at its finest! Very similar in look to the 1854-C above. Very elusive & nearly as rare overall as the '54-C. The mintage dropped 11K to only 28,457 this year from the previous. Combined PCGS/NGC population comes in at 200-205 in all grades. Did I say crusty? Purchased from I. Kleinman in October 1997.
