Set Description
This set contains numerous top population and population 1/0 examples in grades MS66 and MS67 with one truly epic MS68 example. All coins are NGC graded with PL or DPL designation. A pop 1/0 1951S MS66 PL and pop 1/0 2012-D Acadia MS67PL are included for comparison to older and newer PL strikes.
Set Goals
This has been my pursuit for a number of years now and I believe this set is, for the time being, a one of a kind example of these strike types for this series and applicable years. These, in my novice view, document an emergence of more PL and DPL, especially in the 88'-91' timeframe, and my own personal view that the DPL and PL Washington Quarters of 1965-1998 influenced, to some degree, the desire for high grade DPL and PL examples of 1999 and beyond US Quarters.
