Awesome Franklin half with great luster and pretty strong strike. Strike is VERY close to full bell lines. Coin has a myriad of colored toning on both sides with medium gold, light green, and purple being primaries with areas of dark blue, dark gold, pink, orange, and yellow-gold accentuating the luster. A few very light contact marks and scratches are present commensurate with grade. Cost: $152.82 on 12/2/12 on eBay from Kryptonite Comics & Coins (kryptonitecomics).

Interestingly toned Franklin half with great original luster and pretty strong strike. Both sides are 40-50% toned in light to medium gold. Obverse toning is concentrated toward the rim while reverse toning is mainly on lower half of coin. A few light contact marks are present commensurate with grade. Obverse toning is mostly heavy dark gold while reverse toning is a mixture of light, medium, and heavy gold which gets more intense going from the top of the reverse to the bottom. Obverse toning is mostly medium gold and heavy dark gold with some dark green and reddish brown in a few areas. Reverse toning is a mixture of medium, and heavy gold and reddish-gold. Obverse toning is mostly medium gold with some reddish tones along the rims and left side; much of toning with thick patina. Reverse toning in blue-gold speckling over the central area and reddish-orange along the rims with a full thin rainbow along the southwest quadrant.
