Owner Comments:
The early Kronenthalers kept a similar appearance to the earlier Patagon. This one is from reign of Maria Theresa and the year, 1765, that her son Joseph II became Holy Roman Emperor after the death of Francis I. Obverse: 4 crowns in the angles of a floriated St. Andrew's cross. Reverse: Crowned imperial eagle with shield on breast.
