Owner Comments:

This 1874-S Trade Dollar has numerous chopmarks on the obverse. the reverse is almost flattened by the force of the blows to the obverse field. The chops were probably applied while the coin rested on a hard surface. From the remaining detail, the Dollar would probably grade AU if not for the chops.
