Copper Coins from 1780 to 1790 and from 1792 to 1812 - Emperors Joseph II and Franz II/I

Joseph II, son of Maria Theresia, was Emperor from 1780 to 1790. Franz II of Habsburg (1768-1835) was the last Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (HRE) before its end (1806). Then he became Franz I, the first Emperor of Austria (until 1835).

So called "Dickstück", a thicker and heavier (than later issues) single-year type coin. 1799 issues (KM#2115.1) are bigger in diameter (30,9-31 mm), thicker (2,9-3 mm) and as a result heavier (16-17 gr). In addition they are much scarcer than the lighter coins struck in 1800 (KM#2115.2/3).
