Set Description
Singapore issued its own currency in 1967 after being separated, and became an Independent from Malaysia in 1965.
First series circulated coin was in used from 1967-1984, collated herein is a representative of non circulated set minted in 1981, 6 denominations with 92.5% purity silver and proof quality.
Believed this silver proof coin set was a production proved of proof quality coin, prior to the actual minting the Lunar Silver and Gold series numismatics coins.

Set Goals
A meaningful collection of this 1st series silver proof coin, mimic the circulated copper nickle coins.
Worthy to mention here is that after the separation from Federal of Malaysia, each country has gone its own way, then the currency exchange rate was higher in favor of Malaysia Ringgit, 5+ decades later, Singapore currency is now stronger, exchange ratio to Malaysia is about 3. Brunei has a currency parity agreement with Singapore.
