Set Description
This set will display one of my favorite Lincoln Cents namely the 1926-S Lincoln Cent in every level of wear from POOR 01 - MS 70

Set Goals
I want to see how many I can obtain even though I know some will probably not be possible. Another goal I have is to obtain all the different types of deficiencies in the strike of the 1926-S Lincoln Cent and see which deficiencies in the strike seem to occur together. In addition mintmark style MMS-002,
(1917-1941), occurs as a regular punched S as well as a deeply punched S. When the S is deeply punched the S appears larger. With so many fakes in the market place, the 1926-S Lincoln Cent has certain attributes that make it a unique issue in the Lincoln Cent series. The unusual features give you more tools to prove a coin is a genuine specimen.
