Owner's Description

A silver Grosso of Genoa (1139-1339). What I truly like about this coin is how prefectly it is struck and that it has remained uncirculated. Some time in the late 1970's or early 1980's a ton of these came onto the market. I was offered the "pick of the litter" by a dealer friend of mine for $10. Many were dogs but this just jumped up and screamed take me.
