i'd like it even more if you could buy the Maple Leaf coins directly from the RC Mint on the web, however, the Canadians don't like shipping it outside the country. If you're ever in Ottawa though, pay the facility a visit!
Not only is the tour nice, SO IS THE GIFT SHOP.
If I am NOT mistaken, the sale of coins is GST free, or if there was GST, it was FULLY refundable for foreigners crossing the border -- it was at least 5 years ago, so my memory is vague.
