Set Description:

This set from the US Philadelphia Mint honors the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Voyage. This set is the first American-British pairing of a medal and silver coin in the same set. The coins are beautiful coin featuring similarly styled designs in a limited quantities.

Each set comes with an individually numbered Certificates of Authenticity.

This set, 20XB, had a product limit of 9,200 sets. Another 5,000 metal pieces were sent to Great Britain for the UK set.

This set was purchased on November 17, 2020 but was not shipped from the Mint until each numbered COA was checked for a duplicate number. Set received December 24, 2020.

Set shipped to NGC on December 26th and arrived at NGC on January 8, 2021. Delays due to the COVID staffing impact at the US Post Office. Both coins were graded and shipped on February 11, 2021 and arrived on March 1, 2021.

The US Mint set was sent in a sealed box which qualified for the "Mayflower - US Set" pedigree. In addition, I upgraded the label to include the COA number. Also upgraded to have the COA placed in a holder.

Unfortunately the Great Britain 2 pound coin graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo while the Philadelphia Mint medal graded Proof 70 Ultra Cameo.
