Set Description:
This Type collection is named after Monomoy Island.
Off the coast of Chatham Cape Cod lies a little-known stretch of land that has no human residents, no electricity, and no paved roads. It is home to migratory birds, various specials of seals and made famous for the white sharks that lurk around its shores. The name came from a Wampanoag term for “lookout place,” but could also derive from Algonquian munumuhkemoo, meaning “there is a rushing of great water.”
I strive for this type collection to have all coins in the best grades I can afford. That being said there are certain coins that I realize may not be affordable. At the time of this writing there is one Top Pop 1871-S MS66 Half Dime and other key examples worth mentioning 1908 NM St Gaudens MS67, 1864 Indian penny copper nickel MS 65
