Set Description:

This is a set of fully-struck, mint state 20-cent pieces with great "eye appeal." The design, by William Barber, also appears on the reverse of the Trade Dollar. The 20-cent denomination only lasted for four years (1875-78), as many people confused the 20-cent coins with quarters. The Mint obviously didn't learn from their mistake, as they did the same thing almost 100 years later with the SBA Dollar coin. ("Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it.")
