Set Description:

Although George IV (1762-1830) played virtually no active role, he presided , as Regent during the final victory over Napoleon which established Great Britain as the unchallenged superpower of Europe and the world. He was a man of extravagant taste as shown by his building of the Royal Pavilion at Brighton, but his dissolute ways were not admired by the majority of the population, most of whom did not have the vote .He spent extravagantly at a time when a shilling was often all that was paid for a full days work.
