Set Description:
The 1/10 oz Gold Libertad set in MS is an extremely challenging, perhaps impossible, set to complete. I have not seen any 1994 1/10 oz gold come up for sale and none have been graded by any grading service.
Seventeen of the twenty two coins in this set are top pops. Early years are difficult or nearly impossible to find and, when found, most have abrasions, scratches, or other handling marks. It is suspected that many early year coins were kept in Mexico, sent to overseas, or melted during past price run ups; thus, the extremely low numbers graded relative to reported mintages.
I have also completed the 1/20 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 oz Gold Libertad sets in MS. This has been a near decade labor of love to find and preserve these elusive coins and receive Rank 1 in all five gold Libertad MS sets.
