This set is the 5th set in the series of 8 competitive sets (by Denomination) of early Israeli coins:
1949 - December 31, 1957 (up to Monetary Reform commencing January 1, 1958 when Agora Denomination was introduced).
Reform Coinage: 1,000 Pruta (Prutot) = 1 Lira.
