Owner's Description

Scarce in AU, this is one of only 36 across all AU grades. A beautifully toned problem free example though I must admit, this coin is somewhat of a "Bird in Hand" purchase while I continue to search for a higher grade.

4. Earl Sande aboard Flying Ebony wins 51st Kentucky Derby.
5. Walter Chrysler founds automobile manufacturer Chrysler Corporation.
6. John T. Scopes found guilty of teaching evolution in the “Scopes monkey trial”, Dayton, Tennessee, fined $100.
7. Texas School Board prohibits teaching of evolution.
