Owner's Description

I originally acquired this coin at a private auction as a single 1/2 purchase for just over spot. It is a homemade PF69. With a mintage of 10,000 like the 1987 these coins are still plentiful though the 1986 appears less frequently than the 1987 for some reason. The 1986 coins feature a stoic design that has been used to symbolize the entire panda set. The 1986 design most notably is featured on the cover of the "China Panda Gold and Silver Coins" book.
