Owner Comments:
This National Commemorative Medal was struck at the Philadelphia Mint with the āPā mint mark. Medals were produced for the San Diego Two-Hundredth Anniversary Incorporated to commemorate the bicentennial of the founding of San Diego, California. Large and small bronze and silver medals were produced and made available through local banks. The small silver is .900 fine. The medals contain two varieties in which the serif in the letter āiā in Diego points left or right.
