Hermon Atkins MacNeil would certainly be startled to see his once stunning Standing Liberty in such a shattered state. The flesh eating disease has taken over, and the skeleton of the Starving Liberty is exposed to the elements. Take heed from the reverse, displaying blood spatter atop a biohazard sign- alluding to the peril that has taken the life from Lady Liberty.
