Syria - AH1366/1947 50 Piastras - KM #80 - Mintage: 3,000,000
Minted by the Philadelphia Mint for circulation in Syria. Although the coins are dated 1947, they were all struck in 1948.
NGC graded this coin as a 50 Piastra coin, which surprised me greatly since I purchased it as a 25 Piastra coin. As one might expect, they are correct, and I actually got a slightly better deal on it than I realized!
