1857-S PCGS MS65. Gold label. SSCA 4028. Spiked Shield variety. Recovered from S.S. Central America. The fields are exceptionally nice on this Gem, but a ding in the hair prevents a higher grade. This coin still has the book-style box and paper work from the original sale.
