The 1843-C QE Large Date is a distinctive variety, along with the '43-C Small Date. The large date checks in with a much higher mintage than it's small date sister, reported at 23,076. While the large date variety is more plentiful than the small date, original, crusty examples have become extremely difficult to locate. Housed in a 1st generation PCGS holder and undergraded by today's standards. An estimated 300-350 are known to exist.
