1883-CC had a total mintage of 1,204,000, with 755,518 included in the GSA hoard. Since over 62% of this year's mintage was preserved in the GSA hoard, this date is not difficult to find in mint state. As of this writing, there were 270 GSA graded ms66, but only 14 GSA in ms67. 1883-CC is very rare in this grade.

This is a really nice example I got off of ebay a few years ago. I have had two ms67's in this date, and was hoping to trade one for an 1884-CC in ms67. After looking for over 2 years, I decided to trade it to nfcarsoncity for a deep-mirror proof-like GSA. I will be adding that trade coin to a new set soon.
