1909 50C PR68 Cameo NGC. This remarkable specimen is virtually unrivalled in terms of overall quality, as a mere four examples of the 1909 Barber half dollar have been graded at PR68 Cameo by the two major services (including one at PCGS), and none finer, as of (5/08). Exactingly struck with marvelously clean surfaces that display richly frosted devices and deeply reflective jet-black fields on each side. Even thorough inspection with a strong magnifier fails to reveal any grade-limiting defects. Other than a few tiny, milky specks that are scattered in the fields, this magnificent specimen seems nearly perfect.
