||QUARTER DOLLARS - CAPPED BUST
||NGC AU 58
1836 25C AU58 NGC. B-3, R1. Population (PCGS 6/25, NGC 9/25).
Die State II, attributed by a low date, a large 6 about halfway under curl, a tongue in the eagle, and the end of the olive branch over the right part of the C in the denomination. A die crack from 5 o'clock to 11 o'clock bisects the obverse, and that crack is joined by others that wander through the date, the cap, the left side stars, and the bust truncation. The reverse has cracks from 6 to 10 o'clock, with another below the right (facing) wing. Golden-brown and apple-green colors enrich this nicely preserved Quarter.
