The 1885-O is the most commonly found non-CC gsa Morgan with 137 coins in the population report. Yet it is very difficult to find in grades above ms65. This is the third one graded ms66, with none graded higher.

I acquired this coin ungraded at the Long Beach Coin Show in February 2007. It looked like it had a good shot at ms66 and it turned out that way upon grading. I was thrilled to get the grade, since it is so hard to find one in ms66, and buying one already graded ms66 was cost prohibitive.
