NGC US Coin Census for Sacagawea Dollars (2000-Date)

Owner Comments:

2018 was the nineteenth year of the Sacagawea Dollar/Native American dollar series. The reverse side of the 2018 coin commemorates Jim Thorpe (James Francis Thorpe), the first Native American to win a gold medal for the United States (1912 pentathlon and decathlon events).

Coins minted since 2009 feature a plain edge with lettering that shows the year of production and the motto of the U.S. "E Pluribus Unum."

The San Francisco Mint produced 199,177 Reverse Proof coins in 2018 as part of a coin set commemorating the 50th anniversary of proof coin production (at the SF mint).

Ebay auction from reversecoins01 / KOLLECTORZ LLC, 02/03/2020. First Releases. $22.63
