A STANDOUT!
Over 3 Million Proof Sets were sold by the U.S. Mint in 1961. But only 34 Roosevelt Dimes from that year have ever been graded Proof 69* by NGC. NGC reserves the 'Star' designation for coins with superior eye appeal for their grade. PCGS does not use a * designation in their grading.
