RARE 1954 QUARTER - ONLY 9 GRADED HIGHER!

The U.S. Mint sold 233,300 Proof Sets in 1954. But only 239 Washington Quarters from that year are graded Proof 69. Finding high quality 1954 Proof Quarters is difficult. Most of the Quarters made in the early years of the Post-War Proof series are scratched, toned or damaged in some way. This coin is one of the finest examples of a Brilliant Proof Quarter from 1954 that still exists. Only 12 specimens have ever been graded higher.
