Owner Comments:

1910-D NGC MS65. A nice full strike with much more luster than the photograph suggests. This example has somewhat satiny surfaces, or at least not as granular as some coins from this issue. Note the wide "D" mintmark. The Denver mint used the wide "D" only in 1910 as it was found difficult to fit between the rays of the design. Both major grading services rate only 141 1910-D's finer than MS65 (12/3/09).
