Owner Comments:

1937-D. Breen 4290. Ghost white, this coin was a very early strike on a new die, as you can clearly see every tendril of metal flow. There's a very mild blemish on the eagle's left thigh. The mintmark is clearly repunched to the east. A coin seldom seen in grades above MS-65, this quarter was surprisingly difficult to locate in ultra gem despite the fairly ample mintage.
