Purchased on 12/26/2012.

This is a superbly lustrous example of the Type 1 Standing Liberty Quarter. The obverse is nicely struck, with full rivets on the shield and a full head on Miss Liberty. The obverse is free of distracting marks, with only the smallest "divet" under the "TR" of trust in the right field. The reverse is equally well struck, with glowing luster throughout. Both the obverse and reverse exhibit the slightest wisps of gold/platinum toning attractively spread about.
