Owner Comments:

I originally started with the intention of putting together a set with decent graded examples. I managed to get several mid-range coins, but then raised the bar to acquiring the top pop coins. Instead of trying to get every denomination at once, I would break it into chunks, starting with the cents. The best grade for these is MS67RD, so these would be my goal.

The background image I chose was one of Mom's favorite photographs. It was taken at the State Fair of Texas, in a novelty photo studio. She is dressed as a Calamity Jane type character, and always told us how much she enjoyed posing for that picture.

This coin is the highest grade possible, having an NGC population of 397/0.
