Owner Comments:

This Pine Tree three pence is die variety Noe 36. It is probably the most common three pence variety with an estimated 125 to 249 examples known. It is a well preserved piece with nice eye appeal and very nice centering for the type.

These small Massachusetts silver coins are much scarcer than their shilling counterparts, but at the collector demand for them is also lower. As a result prices for these pieces are comparible to those for the large size Massachusetts Pine Tree shillings.
