Owner Comments:

One of only 95 Proof 1857 Flying Eagle cents certified by both NGC and PCGS. Although the 1856 Proof Flying Eagle is more widely known, the 1857 issue is much rarer. (PCGS has certified 725 of the 1856 proofs and 59 of the 1857 proofs). PCGS has 30 graded at this level with 14 finer.

I like this coin's almost fluorescent-appearing features against the toned background.
