Beautiful toning on the VAM 4. So nice, I could have added it to my toned set, but the points for this one compelled me to add it to my top set. Due to its rarity, the VAM 4 is worth significantly more points than a similar non-VAM coin. In fact, this MS65* is worth 1,320 points more than my old MS66. With such a large point difference, I decided to sell the MS66 and buy this one. I like the looks of this coin better too.
I cherry-picked this coin (it was graded, but not listed as a VAM) in the Heritage auction from September 2010, and re-submitted it to NGC for verification of the VAM 4.
