Owner Comments:
NGC graded MS 65 BN.
Variety: N-9, M/LDS.
I paid a premium for this coin because it is simply beautiful.
It has amazing cartwheel luster throughout, rivaling that of my 1820 N-13.
The color is uniform medium brown, but the luster gives it a silvery appearance.
There is a very tiny mark below the eye, and another on the jaw.
It is from a fairly late die state, having almost all cracks described
in John Wright's book.
In my estimation, except for the color, this cent is equal in quality
to the best of the Naftzger examples of the variety. It really is that nice.
