Superb GEM MS 67 1938 D / D Buffalo Nickel in a new NGC holder. This coin has a very sharp strike with great overall detail. In 1938 the Denver Mint produced just over 7 million overall Buffalo nickels. Most of these 1938 D / D Buffalo Nickel coins graded to date are at the MS 66 level or below.
