Owner Comments:

In Honor of Old Glory' Our Nations Flag

The designer Betsy Ross, presenting our new flag to George Washington, from a painting
by Charles H. Weisberger. On January 1, 1952, The U.S. Post Office issued a stamp to
honor the 200th anniversary of our flag as well.

From the Buffalo an Jefferson Red Book- David Bowers commented that trying to
find any that shows sharp details will be tedious. In this decade especially in the early
1950's the US Mint could really care less how our nickels turned out. Most of these
in this year were of poor quality and roughly struck.

When I came across this nickel showing a rare gem-condition to it, really caught my
eye' I simply couldn't pass this up.Trying to find another like this with beautiful luster
and definite eye appeal may never happen to me again.

Currently Oct 2013: There are only 17 Total in a MS67 Graded thru-NGC.
PCGS > Only 1 at this Grade Level.
