This coin was designed by James B. Longacre, and has a low mintage of 28,950. NGC has graded 1894 of these G$1, with a low grade of AU 53 and a high grade of MS 68, the average grade is MS 64 (463). This being the last year of mintage of the G$1, it looks like there were a lot kept out of circulation.
