The 1851-O gold dollar is a common date within the series. Although it is more difficult to locate than then Philadelphia mint pieces, and it fairly easy to find one in grading ranging from VF to MS-62.
The piece displayed above has satin luster with only minimal marks and is typical for the MS-63 grade.
